Brighton: A Travel Blog

Brighton: A Travel Blog

So over the Christmas period we (my boyfriend and I) decided to go on a little adventure to Brighton!!

Now i’m from Yorkshire so this was a 5 hour journey by train… but I can definitely say it was worth the 10 hour (yes 10 HOUR) round journey.

We stayed for a few days in a hotel and spent the whole time exploring different places to go and different things to do. SO I thought i’d put together a little post about what did and what you should look for if you’re going…

One of the things I loved most about Brighton was the cute little houses and shops. Most definitely keep your eyes out for these little gems. They’re just dotted around, specifically within ‘The Laines’. Get yourself those pics girl!

Similarly, one thing to definitely go take a look at is the graffiti. On ‘North Laine’ lies absolutely amazing graffiti. I’ve not a clue who creates this or why they create this, but it certainly is amaze. So thank you to all the mysterious graffiti artists. My Instagram definitely appreciated it!

Ok, This has to be my fave night of the trip… Bills! I’m aware Bills is everywhere and not necessarily that exciting, but this one is super amaze! The venue itself is an old converted bus shelter and it’s crazy busy and cool and wow wow wow! I highly recommend taking yourself for a bite to eat.. if not just to look at the fabby decor! (The food is tasty too ~ I recommend the pan fried chicken)

Also food related, A place for breakfast… Cafe Coho ~ They do bakes and coffees as well but we just stayed for breakfast. It was definitely 10s all round from us. Nothing was too much for the lovely servers and the food was so fresh and so yummy! I thought i’d give it a quick mention because they definitely deserve it! Yay for Cafe Coho!

A very obvious but great one is the amusements on Brighton Pier. You MUST go to the pier, get some fresh donuts (a bag of 8 if you’re me) and go waste all your 2ps in the machines. This is a photo of my boyfriend absolutely overjoyed to be wasting his money on the 2p machines (as you can see) ~ Hi Alex!

Last but not least, BEACH BEACH BEACH! Brighton beach is insane… INSANE. Unfortunately I didnt get a nice picture of the beach, this is as good as it gets… But I can assure you it’s so much better looking, give it a google. We couldve easily spent a whole day down on the beach, throwing rocks and watching the waves, and if I loved it this much in December… Imagine how amazing it is in Summer!

I absolutely loved my little trip to Brighton and can’t wait to go again (when i’ve finally recovered from the 10 hour journey). I hope you enjoyed this little snippet of one of my new favourite places… and I’d love to know your favourite places to visit?
